I have MCU: ATmega644P
I have PONYPROG: Version 2.07c Beta Jan 6 2008

I use PONYPROG for successfull programm: ATmega8,16,32

but I have trouble with: ATmega644P

PONYPROG write: Device missing or unknow device

I use : LPT ISP programmator - STK 200/300

Please very much, help me.
I read this forum, but I dont find concrete solving....

PONYPROG writes "Device missing or unknow device" because it doesnt support ATmega644P. ATmega644P and ATmega644 have different signature bytes.

I'll try to add ATmega164P/324P/644P into source codes and recompile ponyprog.

Also you should pay attention to "Updated Signature Bytes" for ATmega164/324/644 (refer to latest Atmel datasheet).

And build USBasp for yourself eventually!)) It reads/writes zillion times faster.
