Please tell us what you have tired, what OS your using, what version of ponyprog, homeade Board, or kit?
I was using a homemade bread board version for microwave Eproms, and didnt realize the SPI adapter is different! So checkout the diagrams, and make sure they are correct.
I'm not sure windows 7 is supported? But I use it just set as admin, and compatabilty mode for XP SP3.
Make sure the porper com port is selcted, PonyProg is calibrated.
Read as SPI 25040.
Dont use a usb to serail DB9 interface, I havent had any luck with those. If you have a old PC with serail port its best.
Make sure pin WP is at 5 volts, VCC 5 volts, Hold 5 volts,VSS to ground. All pins are used on SPI eproms.
I am working with that exact Chip number, and dont have anyproblems. I'm just having issues with 25LCO4AE
Hope I helped!
