Hi alexdx740,
so if I understand you correctly, read / write of the 95010 eeprom via LPT port is OK, but via COM port NOT OK?
We can try to find out the reason of the problem you have, regarding of reading and writing to the 95010 eeprom. Please append answers for the questions below.
1. Which version and type of operating system do you use? (win or linux; 32 or 64 bit)
2. Which version of PonyProg do you use?
3. Could you attach picture or paste a link to the circuit diagram you have used for hw programmer?
4. What is the result of PonyProg's basic I/O port diagnostics (menu "Setup>Interface Setup>Probe)?
P.S.:I use win7 64-bit and PonyProg2000 version 2.08d
