This programmer for avr is full compatible with Ponyprog?

Dears forumers,

i have built this programmer:

In the writing-verifing process of the hex files is ok, but when i change the configuration and security bits of the atmega8 (i needed to change only the ckel for external crystal resonator), it go in locked. After everything i do, ponyprog says: failed.

In the writing-verifing process of the hex files is ok, but when i change the security and lock bits (i needed to change the cksel, for 12 mhz external crystal resonator) the avr atnega 8 go in locked. After Everything i do, Ponyprog says: failed
