So, spiflash is good project.
Reading and writing MX25L1605 is OK.
I used 74LS245 (see datasheet...) from old ISA multicard, and this simple sch s017.radikal.ru/i441/1111/c0/4ae8fe47b80c.jpg
All components mounted on a back side of DB25(M) connector, length of wires no longer than 3-5cm.
Power supply,
Flash IC Vcc: 3V Li battery CR2032
74LS245 Vcc: USB +5V.
PS: I tried to use this programmer on a few PCs... It works fine on one, and doesn't work at all on another (all received bytes is FF) due to some software/BIOS/settings issues.
