Edit problem with PonyProg.ini

I need to use ULTRASLOW SPIBusSpeed in 2.07c version but I am not able to change it in the INI file. It is always overwritten back to NORMAL. I can change to SLOW or VERYSLOW but it is not slow enough for my application.

Anyone know of a solution?

Thanks,

Roger

Hello Roger,

I am using version 2.08c and there is no problem with changing the bus speed values. You can try the last version from:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/ponyprog/files/latest/download

The slowest spi bus speed option "ULTRASLOW" is correct.

I recommend changing the INI file when PonyProg is closed.

Best regards

sonix

Upgraded to the 208c version and the ultraslow setting now holds. This solved the problem and I can now communicate with the chip while set at 128khz.

Something that might be interesting to know is I measured the sck frequency at the ultraslow, veryslow, and slow frequencies.

Ultraslow = 500hz.
Veryslow = 4000hz.
Slow = slightly over 22000hz.

Thanks for the help in solving my problem.

Roger
