Hello. The Programmer SiProg. Configuration and calibration is performed. The device selected 25010. Cannot erase or read, to write. What you need to do?

Hi alexdx740,

have you read user recommendations at page below?

http://ponyprog.sourceforge.net/phorum/read.php?2,2308

I think it should be OK to read and write to the 95010 by selecting the spi eeprom 25010 in PonyProg2000. I have not this type of eeprom but only AT25080 which is programmable without any problems.

Have you been successful by reading/writing another type of device supported by PonyProg?

Yours sincerely
sonix

I apologize for my English. Yes, I read the recommendations. Were successfully programmed the AVR microcontroller and eeprom 93c56. Eeprom 95010 managed to program using the programmer for LPT port. SiProg to COM port could not read the chip.

Hi alexdx740,

so if I understand you correctly, read / write of the 95010 eeprom via LPT port is OK, but via COM port NOT OK?

We can try to find out the reason of the problem you have, regarding of reading and writing to the 95010 eeprom. Please append answers for the questions below.

1. Which version and type of operating system do you use? (win or linux; 32 or 64 bit)
2. Which version of PonyProg do you use?
3. Could you attach picture or paste a link to the circuit diagram you have used for hw programmer?
4. What is the result of PonyProg's basic I/O port diagnostics (menu "Setup>Interface Setup>Probe)?

P.S.:I use win7 64-bit and PonyProg2000 version 2.08d

Yours sincerely
sonix
