iam senthil kumar i need to program the ATMEGA 16 micorcontroller using SI PROG serial port programmer form the pony prog the LM 2936-z5 regulator ic is not available in the market so iam using LM 7805 regulator ic and iam using pony prog 2000 programming software. Form the menu bar setup menu interface setup iam set the parameter in serial and si prog i/o and select com port 1. The prob result is tested ok and also the calibration is ok but the i can not wirte and read even can not erase the micorcontroller i press the write button after some seconds the software tells me device missing or unknown device [-24]. And i press ignore button the program wirite and verfy the file after verification the result shows the progame failed. So please some one help me solve this problum iam eagerly awaiting your replay.


my system configuration is
intel pentium core 2 Duo and 2 gb ram and 160 gb hard disk and intel 41Qgr moter board and windows xp service pack 2 operation systems
