ATmega8 EEPROM Bug (?)
Date: September 21, 2009 09:45AM
Hi all together,
i'm having a problem using PonyProg. I use a Atmel ATmega8, the "Atmel Evaluations Board" (see datasheet www.pollin.de/shop/downloads/D810038B.PDF)
and Ponyprog v2.07c beta. I use AVR Studio 4 to write an assembler program.
This generates a .hex file of the program code and a .eep file of the EEPROM.
Now the following error occurs:
If i load the .eep file the first time into the buffer of ponyprog it reads the data correctly. If i then open a new window and load the data again, it only reads FF. The first time the reading of the data works. After that it doesn't.
Furthermore, if i want to program the data to the Atmega it always says the device is sucessful programmed. But the EEPROM is always empty.
Thanks, uffisch
